Black Death

 I am back living in France saying that this Black Death disease is wiping out almost half of Europe right now and I don't know what to do! I've done some research on the Black Death and it says it has originated from Mongolia and from a bacteria called the Yersinia pestis fleas on rats. It has spread here by transportation on the silk road and people arriving in areas in Europe carrying the Black Death with them maybe even without them knowing. It is now 1350, 3 years after the Black Death spread to Europe. The day has come though. From my castle, I see that people are running from their homes trying to find a place to hide that is safe, and I also see people trying to run then but then falling to the ground in pain with buboes all over them, blood everywhere. It has been a very scary moment for everyone. I start to run also, I've come prepared, I've built a castle at the highest point I could find near me, and I will go to lock down for however long I am in need. My castle I've built was from 3 years ago, the year the plague has come here. There, is enough food and drinks for me to last for at least another 2 - 2 and half years. But sadly, just a day before I was leaving to go to my castle, it has gotten to me. It was a horrifying moment. On the first day of knowing I had the plague, I was growing these swelled up bumps everywhere called buboes. It was very painful and disturbing to even look at. On the second day, I was vomiting like crazy and for a while I stop vomiting then I would get high fevers then I would start to vomit again. On the third day, I woke up and saw blood all over my bed, I sat up, saw my clothes were soaking with blood and it wouldn’t stop. On the fourth day, I started getting severe spasms and pains all day and it hurt, it was like there was a war inside of my stomach, swords stabbing my inner skin part and it would hurt a lot. I went to bed thinking, I don’t have much time left….. But I was wrong, I woke up the next day and most of my buboes were naturally popped, and I didn’t feel anymore pain...... It is now 6 years after the plague. A lot of things have changed. The church started to lose some power because people believed that if God didn’t help get rid of the plague, then God isn’t real and so the people start to believe science. It also effected daily lives for people, most villages were wiped out and people lost all their knowledge and traditions. It also effected the feudal system, since most peasants died from the plague, most Nobles lost its laborer workers. Life has completely changed.
